Mann Government continuously striving for welfare of children
Chandigarh, 21 February: The Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is constantly striving for the welfare of children of the state. Therefore, an amount to the tune of Rs. 55.65 lakh has been released as the first installment for the construction of Bal Ghar for boys at village Usman in District Tarn Taran.
Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur said that the children of the Tarn Taran and surrounding districts will also get shelter in this Bal Ghar, which would prove to be of great help for needy children as due to the lack of children's home in Tarn Taran district, there are difficulties in taking care of the needy children.
The Cabinet Minister directed the officials of the department for the speedy construction of boys bal Ghar at village Usman and to ensure transparency and quality in Government works and strictly follow financial regulations.
